Why Work With Us?

Seeing a financial advisor seems, to some women, like going to get your car worked on or choosing someone for home repairs.  You may fear that there will be words or concepts you do not understand, you feel you don't know what to expect, and you worry you may get "sold" something.

At Women's Wealth Management, allaying these fears is our first and, perhaps, most important goal, since a relationship with a financial advisor is a personal one in which trust is fundamental to a good working relationship.

With that in mind, the foundation of working with our clients begins with the "Terms Of Understanding" we set forth for any and all meetings:

Terms of Understanding

1. There are no stupid questions.

2. You have the right to expect us to speak in "plain English", and to explain any terminology or strategies you do not understand. You have the right to ask us to explain any concept you do not fully understand.

3. You will be informed of any costs up front and in advance so that you may choose to proceed before any costs are incurred.

4. You have the right (and obligation) to say "NO" if you are not ready or are not comfortable at any time. You can expect not to be pressured.

Accepting a new client into our family is a commitment we take seriously. Below is information which describes what we look for when considering acceptance of a new client relationship. We encourage our clients to make their decision about a relationship with a financial advisor based on the same criteria.

Deciding on a Financial Advisory Relationship with Us

Establishing a financial relationship can be a significant decision.  In an ongoing relationship we are likely considering management of your investments and a relationship involving long-term financial planning and advice. Here is a list of items you may want to think about as you choose an advisor. I look for these characteristics in a client. I hope you will consider them and perhaps utilize them as the basis of your decision to work together:

1. Can I have a comfortable working relationship with this advisor?
                Important characteristics:
                                Liking one another
                                Trust
                                Mutual Respect
                                Compatible communication styles
                                Integrity
                                Objectivity
Knowledge and education level to handle your situation
2. Am I looking for a long-term relationship with an advisor?
3. Do I want ongoing advice and assistance managing my assets and making financial decisions?
4. Do I like having virtually any investment as an option available to me?
5. Is this assistance and advice something worth paying for?
